Godiva Rebranding

Godiva wishes to attract sophisticated women who value the finest imported chocolate and specialized service.

The challenge was to create a new look and feel for Godiva’s stores and cafes. The design must incorporate merchandise display, cash wrap, seating, a barista, and a chocolate theater.

The timeline for this project was a tight four weeks in order to enter the 2010 PAVE student design competition.

This project is featured on the Art Institute's Create Tomorrow ad campaign.

CONCEPT: The golden Godiva chocolate box fits together like lips in a kiss suggesting; romance, friendship, respect, or a fond greeting. The experience connects the visceral intimacy and sensuality of a kiss to eating Godiva chocolate. The infatuated customer is welcomed into an intimate environment bound and comforted by a kiss.
